(B) Platelet expression across adenoma and individual AJCC stages (I-IV). There was no difference in platelet expression between adenoma and stage 0/І. Platelet expression was significantly increased in stage III colorectal cancer compared with stage II. There were greater numbers of platelets in stage IV cancer than in stage III tumors. (C) Platelet expression in colorectal cancers with no lymph node metastasis (N0) was significantly decreased compared to those in the tissues with metastasis in 1-3 lymph nodes (N1) and metastasis in more than 4 lymph nodes (N2).
