Effect of the selective CRF1-R antagonist antalarmin (0, 10, 20 mg/kg, i.p.) in the DB performance of Wistar (N=23), GG (N=47) and AA msP (N=40) rats. (A) Antalarmin dose-dependently decreases the total time of burying during the 15-min test in unselected Wistars and increases this variable in the GG line when injected at a dose of 10 mg/kg. (B) Latency to initiate burying is increased in the AA msP animals. Time of burying and latency to bury values are expressed in mean (±S.E.M.) seconds (sec); *p<0.05, **p<0.01, difference from antalarmin vehicle (0 mg/kg); #p<0.05, ##p<0.01, difference from the AA msP line.
