Western blot analyses of isolated cerebral microvessels after λ-carrageenan-induced inflammatory pain (CIP) from 0–72 h. ICAM-1 was immunoprecipitated from total crude protein. ICAM-1 protein expression was significantly increased at 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, and 48 h postinjection (264 ± 17, 317 ± 26, 274 ± 29, 169 ± 12, 153 ± 15, and 176 ± 11%, respectively).
