Whole blood samples or B. throat swab samples collected at the time of MPXV challenge and at 3-day intervals thereafter were evaluated for the presence of MPXV genomes by quantitative Real-Time PCR. Viremia is plotted as genome copies per ml of blood, or throat swab suspension. An ANOVA was used to detect differences between groups on each day. Significant (p-value < 0.0182) differences between groups 1 and 3, and between groups 2 and 4 are indicated by an *.
