Significant cell adhesion on PCU–CNF patterned materials. Cell numbers represent the total on PCU–CNF patterned substrates. Of the original cell seeding density, approximately 60%, 84%, and 90% of the fibroblasts, RASMC (rat aortic smooth muscle cells), and RAEC (rat aortic endothelial cells) adhered, respectively. Previous studies (Khang et al 2006) demonstrated that 85% of the original seeding density of osteoblasts adhered on these same patterned substrates.
