Long fibers observed by DIRVISH. Xenopus sperm nuclei were incubated in Xenopus egg extract supplemented with BrdUTP for 50 min. Nuclei were isolated, supplemented with SDS, spread over a glass surface, and processed for anti-BrdU immunofluorescence.
