HeLa cells were transfected with pCMV-HA, pCMV-HA-eIF2β and pCMV-HA-eIF2βS2/67A and cell lysates were subjected to immunoprecipitation with anti-HA antibody. Immunoprecipitates (P) and an aliquot of the whole cell extract (WE) were subjected to SDS/PAGE, transferred on to PVDF membranes and developed with antibodies against eIF5, CK2α and eIF2α as indicated.
