Aged 18 years or older

Appointment for a medical imaging examination with a medical prescription requiring a peripheral intravenous catheter

Modified A-DIVA Score≥2

Able and willing to comply with all study procedures

Affiliated with the French social-security system

Written informed consent

Contraindication to peripheral catheterisation: arteriovenous fistula arm; limb with an orthopaedic or vascular prosthesis; history of mastectomy, axillary lymph-node dissection or homolateral arm radiotherapy; paralysed limb; haematoma or wound at the puncture site; phlebitis or infectious focus

Previously included in the study

Enhanced legal protection: minors; persons deprived of liberty by judicial or administrative decision; persons in a health or social-care institution; pregnant or breastfeeding women; adults under legal guardianship; patients in critical situations.
