Standard grid lines printed on both hardcopy printouts and digital ECGs and used by clinicians (and algorithms) as references for measuring time and amplitude units of an ECG. The voltage resolution is the same across all paper ECGs in the dataset. In ECG-Image-Database, the Emory and PTB-XL records include images with 25 mm s−1 time resolution, while the Ahus records includes images with 50 mm s−1 time resolution.
