Figure 2.

Cohort-level overview of ctree. Note: n = sample size in each node. φ = mean square contingency coefficient (Pearson correlation) for prenatal and postpartum depression indicators in each node. Horizontal and vertical lines and indentation in the first column depict the hierarchical structure of the fitted ctree. Cells containing sample statistics (n, prevalence, φ) are indented according to their position within the nesting structure of the ctree. Prevalence and u values are color-coded based on their values for visual emphasis, with darker colors corresponding to higher values. Depression indicators were constructed by dichotomizing PROMIS Depression T scores at 59.7, corresponding to the clinical cutoff for the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale. PROTECT, URECA, MADREs, ACCESS, PRISM, MINNIE, BYS, PASS, CANOE, PGS, CANDLE, Rochester, Magee, Project Viva, MARCH, and NYU CHES indicate membership in the corresponding ECHO cohorts. Nodes 4, 12, and 37, are pruned in this Figure, indicated by italics; see Figures 3–5 for expansions of these nodes.
