CGBP−/− ES cells express reduced levels of Dnmt1 protein. Protein extracts isolated from ES cells carrying the indicated CGBP alleles were subjected to Western blot analysis using antiserum directed against Dnmt1, Dnmt3a, or Dnmt3b. An antiserum directed against actin was utilized as an internal control for protein loading. A representative experiment is presented, and the summary of data from numerous experiments is presented below. The number of replicates for each experimental value is indicated (N#).
