Protein expression and particle formation are high and Rev independent. The gag-pol expression plasmids (5 μg) were transfected into 293T cells in the presence or absence of Rev (pCMV-Rev; 1 μg), and protein levels were determined 48 h posttransfection in culture supernatants (A) and cell lysates (B).
